Founder + Principal Planner

In 2004, Naomi founded DNT Elite Events with her partners and close friends, Deanna and Tiffany. She is a Southern California native who graduated from UCLA, and has worked in the special event industry for over fifteen years.  Her extensive event planning experience includes working for companies big and small, including Universal Studios, Hard Rock International, Saddle Ranch, and Roy’s Hawaiian Fusion, as well as volunteering through her non-profit involvement in the surrounding communities. With a passion for organizing, planning events, and all things beautiful, she eventually grew her own business and has loved watching it bloom to what it is now. Having a strong work ethic, meticulous attention to detail, and devotion to hospitality, she has produced hundreds of stunning weddings and celebrations. Her hobbies outside of work include traveling, yoga, being outdoors, bike riding along the beach, exploring new restaurants, and spending time with her son Maxton and husband Larry.

Associate Planner

Yvonne has been with DNT for six years and in the event planning industry for over ten. She attended the Collins College of Hospitality Management before becoming what she is today, an event and wedding planner! After working her first wedding, she was hooked. With her love for planning and strong work ethic, being able to help create the joy and happiness in peoples’ lives are what makes her days. Yvonne’s warm heart and positive vibes has earned her the position as associate planner at DNT. Although she has many great memories with DNT, her favorite are the DIY weddings where clients get to be most creative and crafty! She loves to see the ideas and the excitement of the couple come to life. Outside of the wedding planning world, Yvonne works in production for Insomniac Events and enjoys going to music festivals, browsing used bookstores and painting.

Associate Planner

Erica is a six-year associate planner of DNT with a vivacious personality who graduated from UC San Diego. With a passion for planning, she loves being a part of creating lifelong memories for couples. Being able to see DNTeam’s hard work come to life in creating the client’s vision after months, and sometimes years, of dedication and planning, seeing the look on their face is such a rewarding privilege at the end of any event. Erica’s ability to welcome and make conversation with anyone at an event is what makes her an integral part of the DNTeam. As her expertise and skills on planning continue to grow, she makes sure every DNT client gets treated with top-notch special care. Erica’s hobbies outside of work include taking fitness classes, such as Barre and Pilates.

Associate Planner | Social Media Guru

Tiffany (aka Tiffa) is another proud graduate from UCLA with a BA in Psychology. She is currently in her fourth year with the DNTeam and has proven to be a sparkling and enthusiastic addition.  Tiffa is a very methodical thinker, and always finds the most efficient way to get any task done!  She loves seeing how the couple's vision comes to life, and how it reflects each couple's individual personality. Her favorite DNT memory was at a Smoky Hollow wedding, where burlesque dancers performed and awed the guests! Outside of the events world, Tiffa works with UCLA Housing and Hospitality Services. In her free time, she loves being a dog mom to her two pups, crafting, rereading and rewatching Harry Potter, and visiting wine country.

Associate Planner | Business Development

Erika (aka Kerika) is a graduate from Cal Poly Pomona's Hospitality Management program, with an emphasis in event planning. She is currently in her fourth DNT wedding season and has become a vital addition in the office as Naomi's right-hand girl and social media guru. With over six years experience in catering, cafes, and food management, Erika helps bring the realistic aspect of events to clients. On wedding days, her favorite part is the look on the groom's face as his bride is walking down the aisle. Erika currently works regularly in the DNT office and with a local event decor company. Outside of the DNT world, Erika enjoys expanding her palate, all things Harry Potter, and being a cat-mom.

Associate Planner

Yes, Caye is also a graduate from UCLA with a BA in Psychology and a minor in Global Studies (can you tell we love Bruins?!). She had her first taste of event planning while relaunching her sorority's holiday party. Ever since then, her childhood dream of

being a wedding coordinator was becoming a reality as she joined the DNTeam! Caye is currently going into her fourth wedding season. Her sweet personality and strong willingness to learn has made her an asset for the DNTeam. Her favorite part of event planning is making the details of daydreams and fantasy turn into reality! Caye currently works in Retail Marketing for NBCUniversal. In her spare time she loves traveling, yoga, hiking and hanging out with her sweet cat, Bailey.

Associate Planner

Ida is a graduate from UCLA with a Bachelor’s degree in Biology and a minor in Neuroscience. She has been with DNT for over three years, and first discovered her love for event planning when she began coordinating her family's large holiday parties. Ida’s sparkling and enthusiastic nature brings a fresh perspective to the team as planning events allows her to express her creativity! She is determined to create unforgettable celebrations and memories that will last a lifetime for her clients. Ida’s will power and strong work ethic has her driven to make sure she goes above and beyond to design the perfect day for her clients. Her favorite DNT memory was a Roller Derby wedding at Crafted at the Port of Los Angeles where she was able to wear roller blades all night long. Aside from DNT, Ida works as an after school program coordinator. In her free time she enjoys cooking, shopping, singing & dancing, and exploring the town with her recently new Husband!

Associate Planner

Brenda is a graduate from UCLA with a double Bachelor’s in Sociology and Asian American Studies. Brenda is one of DNT’s longest associate planner and has been with the company for over eight years. With her strong charisma and devotion to planning, Brenda loves helping couples throughout the entire planning process from start to finish in order to create their dream wedding. Her attention to detail is always spot on and appreciated! During her downtime, Brenda loves to travel and try new places to eat, aka a “foodie.” What she loves most is spending quality time with her beautiful baby girl, Isabelle!

Associate Planner

Kristi graduated from UC Riverside with a BS in Business Administration and has been in the event industry for over 10 years. She loves the joy of working with amazing people, venturing to new places and bringing creative visions to life. She currently works with NYX Cosmetics as the Director of Marketing Operations. Through work she has had the chance to plan corporate events including Beauty Trade Shows in Las Vegas, Hong Kong, and Italy, International Sales Meetings in Germany and LA, Sephora PR/Market Week Events in Asia, and NYX Retail Store Openings! Regardless of the situation, if Kristi is motivated and determined, there is no stopping her! Outside of her busy work schedule, Kristi loves to spend time with family at their go-to getaway in Hawaii!
